On her website she includes the following comment on one of her works, The portrait of an artist (2011) – an artist's paint-smeared overalls:
'This artist quite literally lived in his overalls and I didn't know whether he would even be able to part from this precious possession. His overalls hung in my studio for weeks before I knew which materials I would use for my intervention. In the end I chose to use tulle, a transparent material, sourced from a used wedding dress. And where the original overalls were smeared with countless, randomly placed paint stains, I twisted together little bundles of coloured yarn and pinned them to the fabric. It is as if I am unravelling the artist's colour palette and categorizing and documenting it before returning it to the place where it is most at home, at its best... a kind of overall exchange.'
